the mrs here…just a thought after seeing your cat say hello. if things break down for whatever reason, trash pick up will suffer early on. the rodent population will explode! having a cat or two around will be another weapon in your arsenal. plan accordingly, lol. extra love on that kitty! 😀 blessings on you and yours!

If I open it , once opened how do I know how long it will last ?
I wanted to point out that to have something once a week for a year, you need 1 a week x 52 weeks a year = 52.
Your example is using 4 weeks a month x 12 months =48.
A month is more than 4 weeks, usually 30-31 days You must go by 52 weeks a year.

No no no can’t become complacent. I have been buying a case of canning jars every two weeks on payday trying to get 3000 jars that’s just for family of two for a year.

How.come you dont use an oxygen absorber with salt and sugar?
Small containers, travel size plastic bottles to put any liquid items are getting very hard to find. I bought a gallon of hand sanitizer, hand soap, liquid laundry soap. It’s good to store this way if you need to give some away or to barter with. Also always grab a ziplock bag when you see them
